What is the Bad Beat Jackpot (BBJ)?
The Bad Beat Jackpot (BBJ) is a special system in poker where a player who loses with a very strong hand receives a consolation prize. But the prize isn't just for the unlucky loser—it's shared with the winner of the hand and the rest of the players at the table as well. The goal? To soften the blow of a brutal loss—with a generous payout!
Jackpot Trigger Conditions
To trigger the BBJ, specific hand and game conditions must be met:

- On Run It Twice tables, the BBJP is only valid for the first run.
Payout Distribution (Once BBJ Triggers)
When the jackpot is hit, the prize is distributed as follows:
- %10 to the losing player (suffered bad beat)
- %4 to the winning player
- %4 to other active players (even if they folded)
- %4 The same stake applies to other players at the tables (those actively playing, even if they have folded)
Example Calculations
Example 1:
- Jackpot Pool: $100,000
- Stake: $10/$20
- Jackpot Multiplier: 15%
- Total prize: $100,000 x 0.15 = $15,000
- Loser: $1,500
- Winner: $600
- Others: $600 (e.g., ~$150 each for 4 players)
Example 2:
- Jackpot Pool: 100,000 TL
- Stake: 15/30 TL
- At this level, the Klas JP Pool multiplier is: 10%
- Total prize: 100,000 TL x 0.10 = 10,000 TL
- Loser (%10): 1,000 TL
- Winner (%4): 400 TL
- Other players at the table (4%): 400 TL (e.g., if there are 6 people at the table: ~100 TL per person)
- Other players at the same stake tables (4%): Distributed equally at a rate of 4% of the total based on the number of players.
